Feature Focus: Removing Unwanted Blog Posts
Facebook likes to create posts every time you make a change to your page. Page Guru grabs all these posts and adds them to your website’s blog page. This can result in a lot of blog posts with titles such as “Jane’s Parts and Supplies changed their profile picture” and “Jane’s Parts and Supplies updated their cover photo”. Especially in the beginning, when you are experimenting with different photos, this can result in a lot of articles you really don’t want on your website. Their may also be posts you want to save for a dedicated page on your website, and don’t want to feature in your blog.
Page Guru makes it simple to remove these unwanted posts from your blog. Log in to your Page Guru administration system. On the “Content” tab, click your blog page to expand it.
Under the “Exclusions” heading, click the “Select” button on the far right. This will open a list of all of the posts on your Facebook page.
If you have a lot of posts to search through, enter a “From Date” and “To Date” to narrow the results. Click the post you want to remove from your blog page. Repeat this step for as many posts as you want to exclude.
Click the “Update” button to save your exclusions. When you reload your website, your blog will no longer contain the posts that you selected for exclusion.
